Lab & Plant Science Consulting

I work with cannabis and hemp operators on propagation systems, pathogen diagnostics, and molecular lab infrastructure. The common thread is that I don't sell kits, labs, or testing services, so the recommendation you get isn't shaped by what I'd make on it.

Over 15 years in plant molecular biology, genomics, and bioinformatics, with tissue culture work across a range of species including cannabis.

  • Tissue Culture

Whether you need it, how much you need, and how to build it if you do. Start here if you're weighing a TC program or trying to get one working.

    TC Consulting
  • Pathogen Detection

Testing strategy, assay design and/or selection, sampling design, and workflows to protect mother stock. Knowing what's in your plants before it costs you a season.

  • Molecular Lab Design

In-house molecular capability, from bench layout and equipment through protocols and staff training.

Who I work with

Commercial operators building propagation programs. Nurseries and clone producers scaling for consistency. Breeders standing up in-house lab capability. Anyone protecting mother stock with a testing workflow, or building R&D infrastructure for selection and breeding.

How engagements work

Most start with a call to understand your operation and your goals. From there you get a scoped proposal, project-based for defined deliverables or retainer-based for ongoing technical support.

Remote work covers system design, protocol development, and technical review. On-site is available depending on scope and location.

If tissue culture is the question, the TC Fit Review is the cheapest way to get a straight answer before you commit to anything.
